We will investigate the greatest event in the history of the world. We’ll ask the question, “Did Jesus Rise From the Dead?” We can miss the wonder and the astounding nature of this belief simply through sheer familiarity. We can know it in our heart but not necessarily in our head. How can we defend such a belief when our experience is that death is the final farewell? The truth is that there is a stunning wealth of evidence to support belief in the resurrection of Jesus, and the very serious challenge for any who would reject it is to come up with an alternative explanation of not only how Christianity was started at all, but also why there were numerous radical changes in belief adopted immediately by Jewish members of the early Church.
