Todd Funk is a Christian apologist, speaker, and host of the Thinking Matters Podcast, where he explores the intersection of faith, culture, and reason. He is passionate about helping Christians think deeply about what they believe, engage thoughtfully with challenging questions, and communicate the truth of Christianity with confidence and compassion.

Todd holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine, and spent ten years teaching high school science before moving to New Zealand from the United States in 2004 with his family. His background in science, combined with years of experience in teaching, preaching, youth ministry and apologetics, has made him a sought-after communicator across New Zealand and internationally.

As Thinking Matters’ Director of Speaker Development, Todd is passionate about equipping the next generation of Christians to love God with all their minds and confidently engage the challenging questions of our time.
