David Wareham

Retired associate Professor David Wareham hails from Canada where he completed his B.A.Sc. and M.A.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo and his Ph.D in Environmental Engineering from the University of British Columbia. He was in academia for 29 years, working in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Tunisia, India and Israel – and has retires from teaching in the Department of Civil and Natural Resources Engineering at the University of Canterbury, where he was also the Dean International and Deputy Pro-Vice Chancellor for the College of Engineering, before his retirement in 2021.
